Wow seriously the main things I've said this whole week were "was that this week?" Or "that was yesterday!?" Just so much happened each day that it went by so so fast! It was such a good week! We went to Adam Ondi Ahman on Tuesday as visitors center sisters! We got a VIP tour from a couple that lives there. They don't give tours at AOA usually but only to special visitors..... so like the prophet or general authorities or you know, 19 year old Sister missionaries!!!! It was so special to learn and see where the temple might be someday. Eeeeeeeeeee second coming is a comin'!!!!!!! and there is a rock called Preachers Rock. And I am a witness that you can be heard from that rock even at a whisper from yards away! Coincidence? I think not!
But such a blessing I've had on my mission is being able to sing and share the gospel through Music! We sisters sang on Preachers rock "Israel, Israel God is Calling" and "Joseph Smiths first Prayer" the spirit was so special, so sweet! It was indescribable.
Later this week a guy with the name of Metcalf came from the Salted Lake and gave us 3 hour training on how to teach in the Visitors center. Both Wednesday and Thursday Mornings! It was so so good and I just love everything I can learn in each meeting!
Next was exchanges! Saturday was so much fun because I was with one of my favorites sisters ever! Sister Anderson! I've never met someone so loving, so obedient, and so ready to share the gospel! My favorite moment of exchanges was when we went to a members house, she is very old and sick, her husband had to leave for town and asked if we could be with her. So we stayed with her. And she was just the most humble, serviceable, loving person on the planet :) we felt inspired to sing "I stand all amazed" with her, by the end she was crying and I was teary eyed and Sister Anderson asked her for her favorite hymn which was "Abide with me this Eventide" so we sang that as Well! There is just a precious spirit that comes and only comes through music and hymns! It was honestly one of my favorite moments of my mission so far:)
Anyways I just hope you all know how much Heavenly Father LOVES YOU! Wow this church is so True!
I will end my email with the wise and eloquent words of Elder Peterson, the VC
Director........ "It keeps getting truer and truer." Yes Elder Peterson. Yes it does.
I love you All!
Love Sister Rust
